November 1, 2013 – Corona, CA. – The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series ended the 2013 season with a spectacular display of wild short course off road racing action. Ryan Beat driver of the MAVTV #51 PRO-4, was able to drive through the chaos and outrun 2 dozen of the big dogs to earn Premiere Motorsports Group a second consecutive PRO-4 3rd place finish in the series highlighted Lucas Oil Challenge Cup.
This prestigious event is short course racing’s culminating race where the world’s top drivers close out the season in a furious blaze of glory. PRO-2 vs PRO-4 off road trucks lay it all on the line for a significant cash purse and mostly to claim bragging rights with the winner’s name forever inscribed on the magnificent Lucas Oil Challenge Cup Trophy.
For two consecutive years Ryan Beat has defeated many of the sports most talented and experienced racers. During this last event held at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park on October 27, Ryan was just moments away from overtaking the last of the PRO-2 Racers to capture the victory, when one of the many yellow flag cautions slowed all momentum. Forced back into another restart, it seems as if the #51 PRO-4 experienced heavy friction. With only a white flag till the checkers, Beat hauled the MAVTV truck around the track maintaining position to finish in the lead group.
Ryan raced the entire 16 lap event hard and clean which in the end made him the top PRO-4 finisher. While others were reckless, Beat raced smart pressing the truck to the limit and putting him in contention for the podium. It was lated discovered after post race inspection, the front end steering arms were totally bowed in causing a serious snow plow with the front tires and obviously the reason why the MAVTV Truck had slowed in the final laps.

“It was really an up and down weekend for me,” Ryan admitted. “It sure does feel good to finish the season on a high note like this. We are a regular top 5 finisher and I race hard to bring the fight aiming for the podium. Out of the last seven races, I have finished in the top 5 six times with two podiums. We are a real contender and we are only going to get better and faster. The Mechanics and crew from Premiere Motorsports Group really deserve a lot of credit for giving me a good truck that literally takes a beating.”
“It is all about consistency and performance,” Ryan continued. “We need these positive results to provide value for all our team partners. Premiere Motorsports Group is able to compete in the Lucas Oil Off Road Series at such a high level because of special consideration from Lunarpages, General Tire and MAVTV. Their support has made significant contribution to the overall stature of short course racing and I am honored to be able to drive these trucks and represent for them out on the track. I also need to recognize Rockstar Energy and Loanmart for helping me as a driver get to each of the races all year long. I cannot wait to do it again next year and give the competition another run for their money.”
